We’re developing a next-generation bioprinting platform powered by a MEMS-fabricated matrix printhead capable of full-layer, bitmap-driven droplet deposition. Our technology enables ultra-fast, high-resolution, multi-material printing of perfusable tissue structures, with applications in drug screening, disease modeling, and future regenerative therapies.
Think ASML for tissue engineering: not a printer company, but a process platform company. We’re building the IP, control stack, and validation workflows for high-throughput, standardized biomanufacturing.
Our first patent has been filed with the DPMA, establishing the foundation of a broader IP moat — spanning printhead architecture, control logic, and bioprocess protocols. We're assembling the founding team to develop a functional prototype and secure pre-seed and EXIST funding to drive early-stage defensibility and growth.

Core Technical Challenge
Our initial development targets a scalable MEMS nozzle array with bitmap-driven droplet actuation and multi-material support. The system will operate at high frame rates, integrate with standard video protocols, and meet demanding precision, manufacturability, and biocompatibility constraints.
Cofounder Role: MEMS & System Architecture
This is a founding role, not a consulting one. You will:
- Co-own the hardware design and fabrication roadmap
- Define key architectural decisions for nozzle layout and actuation
- Collaborate on interfacing and control logic
- Shape and contribute to the long-term IP strategy
Ideal Profile
- PhD (or equivalent) in MEMS, microfluidics, or microsystems
- Experience with MEMS device development and system-level design
- Familiarity with HV drivers, actuation principles, and microfabrication
- Interest in building platforms and protecting foundational IP
- Based in Germany
